According to the Pew Research Center, 86% of adults say they often or sometimes get news from a smartphone, computer or tablet. Nearly six in 10 Americans say they prefer accessing news from a digital device rather than from TV, radio or print.

But how do you know if the news you find online is unbiased and reliable? The Media Bias Chart® can help.

The Ad Fontes Media analyst team has now fully rated 76,000 online articles for bias and reliability from more than 2,500 online sources, and we’re featuring 143 of them on May’s Static Media Bias Chart®. A list of these 143 sources is available on our website

Placing all 2,500 sources on a single image is impossible, given the substantial volume. But if you want to check our ratings on more online sources, explore them using the Interactive Media Bias Chart® on our website as well as our Media Bias Chart® app, available for iPhone and Android

On this month’s web/print chart, 12 sources make their debut:

  • AV Club
  • Bearing Arms
  • Boston.com
  • Breaking Defense
  • Chicago Reader
  • Desert Sun
  • Entrepreneur
  • Jewish News Syndicate
  • Project Veritas
  • Slay News
  • teleSUR
  • USAFacts

When you combine web/print, TV/video and podcast/audio, our team has fully rated more than 3,800 news sources. We’ve also compiled commercial data on over 10,800 sources. Become a subscriber today to search even more of your favorite news and news-like sources!
