According to Statista, more than 100 million people are expected to listen to podcasts this year. Although they cover a variety of topics, about 34 percent reported in a 2022 survey that they sometimes get news from podcasts. But just like other platforms such as websites or TV, it’s important to monitor the bias and reliability of the podcasts that are part of our news diet. The podcast edition of Ad Fontes Media’s monthly static media bias charts can help.

Our monthly static charts provide a glimpse of media bias and reliability ratings for a selection of sources. The March edition of the podcast chart features 63 of the more than 720 podcasts we’ve fully rated (that’s more than 2,700 human-rated episodes!), because it’s visually impossible to show all 720 on the same chart.

On the March chart, 10 podcasts make their debut:

  • About a Boy: The Story of Vladimir Putin
  • Bill Handel on Demand
  • Left, Right & Center
  • Legal AF by MeidasTouch
  • Slightly Offensive with Elijah Schaffer
  • The Bret Baier Podcast – All-Star Panel
  • The Majority Report with Sam Seder
  • The Monica Crowley Podcast
  • This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von
  • TRIGGERnometry

If you want to explore these or other podcasts not featured on this month’s chart, you can explore them using the Interactive Media Bias Chart® on our website, as well as our Media Bias Chart® app, available for iPhone and Android.

When you add in our web/print and TV/video ratings, our analysts have rated over 3,670 sources, with commercial data on over 10,000 sources. Become an annual subscriber today to have additional access to our data set!
